While working on the end goal, we must use tactics to manage or endure monetary stress.

These are of no use on their own because, no matter how much you endure, if nothing is going to change in the long term, you eventually break down and become exhausted. But while you reach your goal...

Enter "war economy"
Time to be Spartans and dedicate all our monetary effort to surviving the war, while achieving that victory of a new job.

Therefore, set a draconian budget (again, an instrument to regain a sense of control) and follow it as if your life depended on it.

Don't fall into avoidance

As I have mentioned, avoidance is one of the main sources (and consequences) of anxiety, so we will reduce it if we dedicate a little each day to looking at our finances , remembering our plans, checking if we can improve that "war effort." from the previous point.

Calculate and take into account all your types of wealth
If you remember, back in the day we talked about how everything that is not sold on the market, such as health or love, was valued monetarily. If you have either of those two things, for example, you are “richer” than many people with money .

Therefore, it is time to take them into account often and expand our concept of wealth. That will make us realize that we can be poor, but not in everything and perhaps not in what is important.

Learn about finances
For many with problems, home economics is an incomprehensible science, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Do practices that get you out of your head and relax you
Friends having a picnic
Breathe, meditate, play sports, take long walks, connect with others and with nature... All of these practices reduce general and monetary anxiety .

Many of us live too immersed in our heads and they will always find something to worry about.

Time to get out of that headspace with the activities I've discussed, which can be free and the most effective at reducing worry. Furthermore, putting effort into them will make us see that life is more than the budget and that we are richer than we thought.
