Tax Rajoy, Elena Salgado, Alfonso Guerra and Duran i Lleida will be exempt Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, José Bono, Manuel Fraga or Celia Villalobos will be some of the parliamentarians who will have to pay more, according to the recently restored wealth tax. On the contrary, Mariano Rajoy, Elena Salgado, Alfonso Guerra or Josep Antoni Duran i Lleida will 'get rid' of this tax burden by not reaching the minimum of 700,000 euros.  The Wealth Tax that the Government has rescued, and which will tax some 160,000 people with assets exceeding 700,000 euros , will also affect some prominent members of the Spanish political class. However, other deputies and senators will not have to assume this tribute. The measure, which will not achieve budget balance of any kind since what the Executive hopes to collect in this way will be around 0.1% of the Spanish GDP , responds rather to the demands of the socialist candidate for La Moncloa, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, which which has raised suspicion among the rest of the political forces.

El Confidencial Digital has prepared a list of some of the politicians affected by this new tax burden, and those who will be exempt. These are some of the deputies and senators  who must pay the Wealth Tax approved yesterday by the Council of Ministers: -- Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba : has assets of 984,281 eurosa home (with a cadastral value of 215,255) and UK Mobile Number List  a garage ( 10,611 ). He also owns 234,535 euros in shares and participations, and euros from the sale of inheritance assets and 104,103 from pension plans. -- José Bono : has a single-family home on a 1890 square meter plot in Toledo; a house built in 1940 in Albacete, an apartment in Alicante and 2.3 hectares of olive groves. He also manages 80 shares of Hípica Almenara SL worth 1,673,746.84 euros. -- Eduardo Madina (PSOE) : declares an asset of almost two million euros and two homes in Madrid and Vizcaya, free of mortgages. -- Celia Villalobos (PP) : she owns three homes shared with her husband for which she has not provided the cadastral value, almost 9,000 euros in shares and a mortgage of 300,000 , with 80,000 euros pending payment.

The former Minister of Education, Mercedes Cabrera , will not be spared either ; the founder of the Popular Party, Manuel Fraga ; the socialist senator, Carmen Alborch ; or the 'popular', María Ángel Crespo . Among those who will be exempt from this tax burden on the 'rich' are: -- Mariano Rajoy : declares assets of 597,442 and four houses (of which the value is not specified). One of them is his habitual residence, and the rest are three apartments (in Madrid, Pontevedra and the Canary Islands), a parking space and an office in Pontevedra. He also has investment funds worth 313,870 euros and 143,181 in shares. -- Elena Salgado : with 555,991 euros in accounts, fixed-term deposits and fixed income funds; She also owns a home in Madrid and an apartment in the Alpes Maritimes (France) . She 'gets rid', by a narrow margin, of the tax prepared by her own team. -- Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría : the PP spokesperson in Congress has stated the ownership of two properties in her statement: an apartment and a townhouse in Madrid, her habitual residence, of which she owns 50%.
