Water is probably the most important resource for humans. Although it is not always on the public agenda, its daily use, as well as its lack, directly affect us much more than any other element. The crises caused by droughts or excessive uses of this valuable resource reveal the shortcomings of a system that is not prepared to contain either the high demand or the conditions imposed by nature. This has been the framework that supported H2Otel, a pilot project promoted by Preverisk , in an advanced phase, whose final objective is to reduce water consumption in hotels, specifically in the 11 participating hotels in Mallorca and Menorca , belonging to the Riu chains.
