I don't see the point in deploying an online editorial strategy

Writing optimized articles without integrating SEO and therefore without taking into account the way search engines, particularly Google, operate. Writing for social media is good. Writing for humans is good. But if we want to reach human beings, it is imperative to take SEO into account. Banking on hypothetical social media virality means exposing yourself to major disappointments. As stated in an article in the Harvard Business Review France (August September 2016): “the very idea that consumers would want to discuss Corona or Coors in the same way they debate the talent of Ronaldo and Messi is completely absurd” . Social networks are very effective tools for communication, for branding, for notoriety.


From a purely business, “bottom line” point of view, all studies show that it is less obvious. Our goal when we write Email Data articles for clients is that these articles are referenced and bring traffic. An article is a day's work based on data analysis and for a text of 1,200 to 1,800 words, depending on each market. The 500 word article, recommended by some, does not work. All the studies on this subject show that well-referenced content is also content that is long. 4) Results Our results are rapid, but they are observed in two stages. Firstly, the sites on which we work are visible (referenced) on an increasing number of keywords. Potential visibility increases. This means that the site appears in the first 10 pages of results for an increasing number of keywords.



But the site can appear on the 3rd, 5th, 8th page and therefore with a very limited impact on the site's traffic. Secondly, this number of keywords continues to increase and the average positions increase. Instead of publishing on the 3rd or 8th page on Internet user requests, we publish on the 2nd and 4th page. In this 2nd phase, we begin to have an impact on the site traffic. On average, it takes us 3 months to start having a truly significant impact on site traffic. We can see it clearly in this diagram: it is first the red and yellow which increase: the site stands out on more keywords but on pages 5 and beyond. Gradually, blue and green increase: the site stands out in the first results. At this stage, still no inbound link.
